Family-Owned, Professionally Run
Doing business with Heistand Automotive is like having an auto repair shop in the family. We’re there when you need us, and the owners personally ensure that you get prompt, expert service. You can always count on the friendly, professional staff to proactively recommend the best service options for you, not the most expensive ones. We charge a reasonable price, go out of our way to make sure the job is done right the first time, and our word is as good as any guarantee. It’s just what you would expect from a family-owned and run business who truly values its customers.
Fred Heistand opened his auto repair business in 1976 in Manheim, PA. For the next fifteen years he serviced vehicles and sold motorcycles, earning a solid reputation in the community for doing quality work and treating people fairly. In 1991, Chuck and Jan Callis purchased the business and built on Heistand’s foundation to become one of the area’s leading foreign and domestic automotive service companies. Chuck, Jan and their son Justin Haug continue the tradition with a special focus on foreign cars. Today they have a loyal following of consumer and business customers from Manheim, Lancaster County, Central PA and beyond.
